The Owl Pre-School always aims to give
children and parents the highest
quality possible. In October 2004,
the Owl Pre-School proved
this.
The Owl Pre-School
was awarded the Kent Quality Accreditation.
The accreditation is a quality assurance scheme
that has been developed by the Early
Years Development and Childcare
Partnership (EYDCP).
After an excellent Ofsted Report we
decided to go ahead with The Kent Quality Accreditation which took 15 months to complete. The Pre-School
was the first in Kent to have achieved this very prestigious award.
250 people attended the
award ceremony at Ashford International
Hotel on October 15th 2004. The Presentation
was made by Dr Ian Craig. Assistant Director
KCC Education and Libraries.
Reflecting on what the
award means to them, Marion Wessel from
the Pre-School said:
" Children are at the heart
of this. Every member of the team has
given their all and we are very proud
of what we have achieved and the difference
we are making to our children and their
families."
